  1. Minutes Review and Approval – 19 November 2019 PLUC meeting minutes.

  3. Update re Community Outreach / LMU Master Plan Review / CPC-2019-4651-SP

    • Third presentation at PLUC. At the Committee’s request LMU has launched a community outreach campaign to help stakeholders understand details and impact of requested Master Plan amendment. 

    To recap: LMU is requesting an amendment to the Master Plan for its on-campus built environment. Increase from 457,000 sq feet net new for Academic/Admin purposes to 1,779,000 sq. feet net new for Academic, Admin or Athletics purposes.  Note: original 3 ordinances relating to LMU Master and Specific Plan are posted to the PLUC web page.

  4. Reading-Ramsgate / Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC)

    Background: There is a Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC) development “hot spot” in the Reading and Ramsgate area neighborhood, where 150 parcels qualify for TOC density projects, displacing many residents currently living in Rent Stabilized older housing. 

    Regarding TOC development in the Reading-Ramsgate neighborhood, Councilman Bonin has expressed interest and concern, and would like CD11 staff to proactively review this issue and questions of livability as TOC development continues.
